Finding and ordering my new stairs was fun and easy through the Hardwood Lumber website. Choices are easy to find and there is helpful information within the site to help you along the way to your final decision. I was sceptical about ordering lumber site-unseen, but it turned out better than hoped.
The process is so streamlined that I really didn't need anything in the way of customer service. This included the delivery process where I was updated via mobile device on the progress and movement of my order.
My stairs arrived faster than advertised and were packed in a bomb-proof manner. Needless to say they (26 pieces) were in perfect condition as they were loaded into my garage. They quality is exceptional and I will be proud to have em in my home.

The butcher block countertop I ordered was to be the Black Limba. Not only was it not stained the color it represented in the picture , it looked like bare unfinished woood , with hardly any grain at all present. Sadly, Very disappointed in my product.

Stair treads did not come as pictured online. I thought I was getting two pieces of pine glued together, but all the stair treads have a different amount of glued pieces and look inconsistent. Very disappointed by the lack of clarity.
