I find it very interesting that you ask for a review before I’ve received the product (literally just received the notification that it has shipped). Although the experience may now be outside of your direct control, it is no where near complete for the customer until the product is in their hands. You need to expand your vision and understanding of the customer experience. Ordering was OK. More detail between one type of product and another would be helpful - you describe each, but it’s difficult for me to understand what I’d get as a benefit with a higher priced product. Delivery time is a bit of a black hole, with status like “entering production” and “nearing completion”. Again, I want to know when I will have the product, not guess what your status means and how long I need to add on to that time for the other steps. People I spoke with were professional and pleasant. Can you tell me when my product will arraive?

The review request that was sent was to review our company and then after the product is delivered you will be receiving a review request for the product but we do appreciate your feedback and is something we will take into consideration. According to FedEx tracking it looks like it will be delivered the first part of next week. The freight company does call you to schedule the delivery appointment a day or two before delivering. Tops were shipped on a pallet and packaged well but were not strapped to the pallet and slid four feet off the end. Truck driver could not pick it up with hoist dolley so we had to hand unload with one top being 4’ x 8’ x 2” very heavy. When I took the packing off the big top it had multiple dents in it and is also cupped across the width by 1/4 inch. I’ve been in commercial and residential high end millwork for 39 years and the big top should of never left their shop in this condition. Very disappointed.

Hardwood Lumber has been a real pleasure to work with. I wanted a special cutting board for my wife's birthday. She loves making pies and pastries and needed a specific size for what she does but it also had to be cherry wood to match her favorite rolling pin. On Hardwood Lumber's website it couldn't have been easier to select the perfect species, size and configuration. The product is beautiful! The ordering process was simple, and I ordered with you in part because the promised delivery date fit within our time constraints. Not long after I ordered, I received an email saying my order was almost completed. Then, crickets. The delivery date passed, so I contacted customer service and was told my order would not ship out for another week. No explanation or apology. But when pressed, I was told it was drying from the finishing process and couldn’t be shipped until it was dry. However, a couple days later it was shipped anyway. Received about a week outside the promised window. So my complaint with you folks has more to do with your customer service and communication and less to do with the actual product.

All my questions about various species before I ordered were answered promptly. I ordered a splash and received periodic email updates on the status of my order. When there was an issue prior to shipping about the quality of my backsplash, which they were concerned did not meet their standards, I was provided a photo of the splash as I requested to see if I would like it despite their concerns. I loved the inconsistency in the graining that they were concerned was not acceptable and the splash is being delivered with my countertop on time, as promised. It is great working with this company, and although you must leave enough time to get your order and shipping is not cheap... it is totally worth it. I have bought an unfinished top from a big box store for a smaller project, and the cost and hassle of cutting and finishing it are worth the cost of shipping this one. I wish I'd found them sooner!

We ordered this beautiful 24x36 board to replace the porcelain countertop with wood on an antique Hoosier cabinet. It is for our granddaughter and I’ve been looking for 3 years for the perfect cabinet. I found it but it had porcelain. It fit perfectly when we slid it into the space where the porcelain top had been. I would definitely purchase from your company again. You did an amazing job and communication and shipping were perfect.

Received the stair nose piece on March 21 that we ordered on Feb 13 -- was able to open it up yesterday to start the install and was surprised (not in a good way) to find that it had been made with a large knot right in the center. While we love the color variation of hickory, and installed it throughout most of the second floor, we discarded some pieces with knots in them or located them in closet spaces. How disappointing that someone chose to make this piece with a knot right in the center that will be in the most visible location of the entire second floor -- right at the top of the steps! Was already disappointed that it took so long, and now am stuck with a piece that i'm less than happy with.
