Only comment that would be on the downside is your website could be more accurate after you place your order. It kept telling I didn’t have an order with you when in fact I did. Customer service confirmed I did have an order and kept me updated. Countertops came today and are awesome, absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to see them instaled!

This was my first order from HLC. I had a very difficult time finding Beechwood retro-treads to update my staircase until I found them. The price was reasonable, and the shipping was much faster than I expected. It took 2+ weeks to prepare and ship my stair treads (raw, unfinished) and they arrived by FedEx in two days from Ohio to Texas. I was very impressed. They arrived well packaged with no damage. My carpenter was impressed with the quality of the wood and the way they took to stain. They will be installed this week and I can't wait to see the finished product. Thank you, HLC, for an easy and satisfying experience.

Customer service seemed confused when I called them after they asked us to reach out for order clarification. Stain choice came out pink looking. Have to sand and re-stain ourselves. If a customer chooses a particular color but the wood selection is different than the sample I think customer service should reach out to recommend the color that would be closest to the original choice.

Terrible experience. Items arrived weeks later than expected and had to call multiple times to see what happened to my order. Would not recommend.

Speed of delivery, product quality and customer service were great. Trucking company was terrible and uncooperative. Truck showed up at our office as it began to rain. We paid extra for a lift gate. I had a dolly ready, but driver refused to help me move the 160 lb piece 4 feet into my building. He had it on a hand forklift, but left it in the open in our parking lot. As a result, the piece got wet while I rounded up employees to stop working an move the piece literally 4 feet inside. Ridiculous!

Item took too long to ship (2 weeks), by the time I received it it was already warped. The finish was as good as I expected, especially for the price I paid. Several hairline cracks int he wood as well.

I just ordered samples and they were beautiful. Communication was good -- it takes a week or so for them to prepare the samples if you aren't getting raw wood, which is reasonable. The samples were both kind of heavy and weren't packed securely so they dinged each other, which was actually a good thing because I got to see what happens when they are mistreated.

Regarding Order#61207. This is a beautiful piece of Walnut Hardwood. Thanks to the fine craftsmen and all who worked to have this order shipped. However, the board arrived with a damaged corner but it was installed in such a manner as not to be seen. Maybe should think about better corner protection in your packaging or maybe Fed Ex shouldn't be so careless in it's treatment of people's packages.
