Very fast delivery
Great workmanship

Although expensive, out wooden countertop came in at around exactly when they estimated and it is a beautiful piece that looks wonderful! Well worth the money.

Customer service was very helpful when I called to ask questions as well.

Everything was smooth, from ordering to receiving the countertop.

Two stair treads arrived with different stains than the others. Poor customer service, never even received an apology for the delay this has caused my project. Won’t be going back or recommending

Very happy with hickory stair treads and risers. Exceptional quality and great packing. I highly recommend.

One of the most important things was to find a company that would accept custom measurements and would make MY butcher block to MY specifications after receiving my order rather than try to sell me a prefabricated product. It took a little longer but was definitely worth the wait. Hardware Lumber sent me emails about the progress of my order from start to finish. I had a butcher block top on my kitchen island for 30 years and when I finally moved, I was lost without that work surface and missed the beauty of my well-made maple butcher block. I moved into a house that had an island so I replaced it with a butcher block top purchased from a big box store. It sufficed but was not well constructed so it soaked up liquids and easily stained and it was very difficult to keep it sanitary. Even after many many coats of proper conditioning with walnut oi, it would soak up the oil but never seem to seal. I moved to a house that does not have an island so I started searching for a butcher block surface that I could customize to the space I had available. That's when I came across Hardware Lumber. My butcher block is a beautiful product. It was more expensive than big box products yet much less expensive than most butcher block companies I researched. AND they constructed this to my specifications. To me, it is worth every penny I spent on it. It works as it should, is easy to clean and keep clean and it is beautiful. I love it and am so happy I found Hardware Lumber. Could not be happier.
