I’m a retired professional woodworker. Hardwood Lumber is my go to place for wood tops. I have ordered 2 Canary wood tops and 3 cherry tops. All arrived in great shape and looked great and were FLAT. Customer Service is quick and friendly. Note: I do my own finishing. The tops were all sanded and free of machine marks making finish sanding very easy.

I was a little confused and concerned when my order was awaiting fulfillment and the order status wasn’t updating, but I inquired, and got a timely response saying my order would ship that week. Then my order didn’t ship in the time frame I was given, so I inquired again, got a timely response and a tracking number and my order arrived the next day. Overall I’m pleased with response time, but still there was confusion about the status of my order.

I called many times asking for an update on my order. Each time the service agent I spoke with told me I would receive a call back after they spoke with the finishing dept. I never heard back from anyone. Today I received a Fed Ex shipping update that stated that my order was estimated to arrive approx. 3 weeks ago! Ridiculous. So I still have absolutely no info on when I am actually getting my order. Will not be ordering from you again.

Appreciate all the wood options for our bathroom countertop. Countertop arrived well made, perfectly sized and shipped. We ordered Ash wide plank 1.5" thick, was a nice light neutral color with a hint of cream color. We stained it to achieve the desired color and applied clear epoxy.

My order was processed quickly and I was continually updated on the order progress. I wish all companies had a system in place to keep customers informed of orders like this one.
The only thing I was put off by was the use of FedEx for the shipping company. Somehow FedEx pulled through and actually delivered my tops on the day promised and within the 4 hour delivery window.
The packaging for the tops was great also. Thank you for taking such care from start to delivery.

Are you kidding me? These boards were almost $500 a piece, supposedly premium grade walnut, and these poorly matched, sapwood pieces are riddled with cracks, holes, knots, and the finish is NOT matte as requested. If I had requested semi-glossy, it isn't even a good example of semi-gloss, as it hasn't been sanded between coats. I purchased some premium grade boards from your company previously, and these are so far from the quality sent before, I have a hard time believing I ordered them from the same place! Happy to forward pictures.
