The ordering experience, support was great. They clarified corner/edge positions when I had forgotten. Shipping per web site was to have been a couple weeks but ended up being nearly twice that BUT the product was worth the wait. Came in perfect shape.
That said the shipping was extremely expensive and the weight listed was literally twice the actual weight per the item. On top of that the frieght company didn't want to come down our street per his trailer being a 48 foot rig. We do have a dead end BUT there is a turn around at the end that I personally know 54 and 58 foot trailers have turned around in. Had to mee t him at local grocery store and transport item into my car for trip home. Not a big deal but for shipping paid they should have had it in my garage in my humble opinion.
Will recommend to friends for product but shipping cost and experience is something I will also mention.

Although I waited 6 weeks for my cutting board it is perfect! Your web site lists 1-2 weeks for cutting boards so I was a bit concerned when I didn’t hear anything even after a month. Once it was ready to ship I did get information. I would have liked to have known up front the approximate time as I worried that the order was somehow lost. The board is beautifully made and I used it for the first time tonight and really love the quality!

The overal experience was very positive. The wood pieces have excellent craftsmanship. We ordered a stained piece to and that did not work well and decided I stained is better. If I would have ordered I it without the sample trial it would have been aweful. Shipping inquiry had great turn around time and staff was very friendly and easy to work with.

Ordering was great. I was able to customize for exactly what I needed. No issues with the process. The ability to get updates on the order was a very nice touch. I am sure we will do business again in the future.

Unfortunately there is a big problem with my recent order. The lumber appeared, smooth, uniform, and clean when it first arrived. To finish it I wiped the entire surface with a damp cloth to remove any dust. Then, I applied a layer of Rubio Monocoat oil with an application pad.
Now that the finish has had time to cure it is evident that the lumber was not properly cleaned before it was delivered to me. There are 4 very unattractive shiny patches on the surface that are likely the result of sap pockets.
I have reached out to Rubio and their suggestion in order to achieve a uniform finish is to sand the entire surface, clean the sap with acetone, and reapply the oil. Even then there's no guarantee this will solve the problem.
This whole experience has been very disappointing as your product is one of the most expensive furniture purchases I've ever made. Also, Rubio oil is an expensive wood finish which I've now wasted as I have to sand it off.

The floating shelves arrived on schedule and we were given email updates throughout the process. The shelves look great and are on the wall, easy to install.

Our custom order for butcher block insert for our cooking space took a while to complete. I could have used a bit more information about how it was going; however, the ordering process was easy, and the block was delivered on time. I was confident that we were getting exactly what we wanted. We did. Good Job.

Was looking for raw lumber but after seeing their services decided to purchase fully finished counter and bench tops. I really liked the many options for thickness, edges, stains and finishes. Gorgeous walnut tops with a beautiful finish arrived securely packaged and shipped. Love them. Beginning to end I had an easy, professional experience. Would highly recommend Hardwood Lumber Co.

Ordered hickory butcher block countertop for use as a workbench top. It is absolutely beautiful and so sturdy. Could not be happier with it.
Good communication and follow-up from customer service as well on a few questions I had.

I requested samples of their butcher block. Not only were they beautiful specimens of wood but they were also the thickness of the final countertops. Great job!
