This is BY FAR the MOST PROFESSIONAL company I have EVER did business with. Their communication is ABOVE AND BEYOND professional, a true example for EVERY OTHER COMPANY in the world. My order was perfectly packaged to protect my order from any issues. Even when I had an issue with the delivery company, their communication and professionalism shined through my issue.

HLC transactions have been seamless. All product has delivered in a timely fashion, as promised. Production and shipping details all clearly communicated via email. Very, very happy with all aspects of doing business with this company.

I've purchased 3 matching pieces. A mahogany dining table top for 8 people, a 10' long counter top with sink, and a counter top for another cabinet. Each piece was shipped within a month and matched perfectly. Because they used OCS stains, I was able to purchase addition stain to refinish other items to match. Love Hardwood Lumber Co

Mine was a small order—boards for a Japanese-style cypress bench in my bathroom. But the wood was carefully selected and lovely quality, and the packing job was excellent. Thanks for the care you put into your work. J. Johnson

My original order was received with water damage and 5 transition treads were missing. I ask for replacement and they arrived soon after along with the 5 transition treads. Packing was handled much better and each tread was individually wrapped.

The website is great and the ordering process is very easy. However, the product didn’t ship in the advertised time and upon inquiring I was told numerous things that weren’t true “it shipped today,” “it will ship tomorrow,” “the shipping manager will call you in the next few hours.” I would have rather been told “it won’t ship for over a week (the true answer at the time I inquired).

So far, I have not received the package. Your website for track packages is terrible. It requires you to make an account —no other vendor that I have ever used does that.
Your customer service PEOPLE were great - very responsive and knowledgable. So, if it were just the people, I would say 5 star. With the internet interface I lower it to a 4.

About Hardwood Lumber Company
In 1958, a seed was planted in Burton, Ohio. Through careful nurturing and meticulous attention to detail, the Hardwood Lumber Company gradually expanded from a small local sawmill into a renowned premium hardwood product manufacturer. Its operations extended beyond its initial boundaries, establishing a strong presence as a national producer of top-quality butcher block countertops, stair treads and risers, floating shelves, cutting boards, fine hand-made furniture, and custom cabinetry. Presently, the company has given rise to Hardwood Lumber Company, Mouldings One, and Sheoga Flooring and Paneling, Inc.
