I'm always recommending things to friends and family but of course I first try them myself. I'm the guinea pig. Anyway I have tried CBD gummies & honey(feel too groggy when I wake up to use the bathroom), Melatonin (does nothing to help me sleep but I know it has many other health benefits). Also have tried Gaba Calm (for a racing mind) and L-Theanine (for physical calming). Gaba and L-Theanine didn't work that well alone but with the added ingredients in BeSerene it really does help with sleep. I only use maybe a little more than 1 pump. I know I sleep longer stretches in between getting up for the bathroom (I have incontinence) plus i sleep deeper. I did take a L-theanine lozenge with the cream one night but then tried only the cream the next night and it worked just fine. I really recommend this product.
