Despite being compared to an AC unit (two of three for cooling), I can safely say this product will only blow cool air and not cool a room (even a small room). We bought this for our baby room - I put cold water in the tray and the ice packs; but sadly it did not cool the room down. In fact the temperature went up by 0.5degrees. It also says that it does not require ventilation but upon speaking to customer services, they said the product works best next to an open window. NOT AS ADVERTISED. This is basically a very expensive fan that will serve to cool you if sat directly in front of it (which you can't do for a baby). DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO COOL A ROOM
DOWN.
DOWN.
