Two of the apricot trees that I received were in horrible condition. The wood looked red and shriveled with one of the trees having one of its main branches snapped and broken. I ordered a persimmon, nectarine, and peach part of the order which were in better condition. But still 2/5 plants were bad. Very dissatisfied. The packaging and wrapping of roots was done well however the trees picked out to be sent to me where well below expectations. I understand that they are barefoot plants however there two trees look dead…

The pineapple guava /feijoa (3) young shrubs I received are super healthy and green. They are in the ground now. And we are getting long awaited rain tonight, so tomorrow I expect them to relax even more. I planted them 8 feet apart hoping to for somewhat of a hedge in the coming years.

I ordered four plants, and I see that only one plant has some leaves. All the remaining plants look dead.

Very disappointed with the trees I received. I was looking forward to good trees from the reviews of others. One tree I received was just a long thin stick with no leaves or buds. The other was a long thin stick and the leaves were droopy and dry and even with watering a lot they haven’t changed. Have contacted the company several times about wanting a refund for trees that were not healthy when received and they have not responded. Very dissatisfied with service and the trees.

Unsure how bamboo travels. Mostly brown leaves on all 3 plants. TBD if they grow

The tree was delivered on time. I soaked the bare root tree for several hours and planted it per the instructions and have watered it daily however, it has not recovered well. I will continue watering but, it does not look healthy.

Great carnivrous plant store!

I’ve been a gardener for 40 years and was so disappointed at the quality of what I received. I bought a thornless honey locust to match one we already have. Our local nursery did not have one, so I took a risk and ordered a bare root tree. The tree trunk is bent so severely I don’t think I can splint the trunk straight. Huge waste of money, and I should have ordered a potted tree locally, which would have been around the same cost. It’s in the ground and looks absolutely ridiculous.

I have placed a few orders now. In each case I have been very happy with my orders. I will continue using Ty Ty Nursery for my plants and supplies.

They always give you update on what going on with your order. The plants are nicely packed and look alive when you open the box. Can’t wait to see them grow. Thank you!

TyTy Nursery – Mixed Experience (So Far)

I recently purchased two trees from TyTy Nursery: a persimmon and a Li jujubee. Overall, this has been a mixed experience, though it may be too early for a final judgment.
The persimmon tree arrived bare rooted and without leaves, which I expected. After about a week in the ground, it appears healthy and is just starting to bud out new leaves, which is a positive sign and gives me confidence that it handled the transplant well.
The Li jujubee tree, however, arrived in a much more stressful condition. It was also bare rooted but had leaves upon arrival. After planting it a week ago, all of the leaves have since turned brown, and the tree does not appear to be doing well. I’m concerned about its survival and will be looking into a warranty replacement if it does not recover.
On the positive side, the delivery was fast and efficient, and the trees were packaged reasonably well. Time will tell how both trees ultimately perform after the stress of bare root shipping. For now, I’m encouraged by the persimmon but disappointed with the condition of the jujubee at delivery. I’m hopeful TyTy Nursery will stand behind their warranty if the jujubee fails to survive.

TREE WAS DEAD... BOX WAS BEATEN UP...WAITED ON HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES...WOULD NOT REPLACE THE TREE... SAID IT WAS ALIVE EVEN THOUGH THE LEAVES WERE DEAD...A TOTAL RIP OFF...

I’m giving a 4 star only because the shipping time was quick.
I planted my fruit trees right away as soon as they were received and now days later they’re still not “picking up” yet
My Russian pomegranate tree has droopy leaves although it’s getting enough sun and water daily and my sour egg plum was just a stem with little budding. I hope these will both take soon.

Tried emailing them with No response. Plants arrived in an extremely damaged box. They were crispy. Leaves completely dried out on all but one of the plants. The “gallons” I bought were bare root. I hope they come back, but, I have received bare root that got stuck at USPS for 20 days that looked better then these arrived. I’ll have to see if they come back if they do I will edit my review.

Ordered two wildlife apple trees , one is very much alive and healthy the other seems to be dead . The whole tree is brown and has no buds . The shipping and receiving was great. I received the trees shortly after ordering them.

Ordering was easy. UPS delivered to the wrong address. But the recipient brought the tree over to us the next day. The leaves that the tree has originally seem to be dying off. But it looks like new ones may be coming out.

Tried to place an order off of an email. Wanted to order some persimmons and kiwis. Website kept refreshing continuously, wasn’t able to order… still want to order.

Bought two mulberry trees. One of them arrived with dried/dead leaves and branches.

Too early to tell! The tree arrived packed okay!! The root seemed good but the trunk had brown marks on it almost like rot spots! We will see how it does! Fingers crossed!
