I ordered two filbert trees. They arrived as bare root, wrapped very tightly in plastic with a hydrating gel sort of around the roots. There was not a speck of green on either the roots or the trunk. They didn't appear to be living, viable saplings. Since I didn't consider them to be plantable in my yard, I planted them in very large pots and will try to nurse them for about a year - at least until I see that they are living and have greater potential for success. I'm very disappointed and will not be purchasing from this nursery in the future. Compared to the saplings I've purchased from Fast Growing Trees, there's such a difference. So sad.

Instructions are vague, or non existent. Tree roots are packed in a gel. Do you rinse it off, do you plant with it? No idea. Do you mix transplant beads in the dirt? do you add it to water? no idea. "Plant tree up to line on trunk", there is no line on trunk. After a week, the tree shows no sign of life. Still waiting.........

3 of my trees were virtually dead when I planted them. To date, I have only received partial credit & am still waiting for $38.02 in credit for the third tree. I have submitted several emails & response is slow to say the least. I’d like to ge the full credit so I can reorder the trees ASAP before it gets too hot to plant them.

Not very happy. Received my two trees got here a day late late in the day. Opened the box next morning and trees were already wilting pretty bad. Trying to nurse them back to life but don’t look good

I purchased a Cypress tree two months ago in March 2026. After planting the tree went into shock and died, I contacted.Ty Ty nursery. And explained the situation. They informed me I have to wait two months before they will replace the Cypress tree. I need to continue to water and maintain. So now I have a dead tree in my front yard that's not showing any signs of coming back to life. It's just a stick with no branches no leaves and completely dead.
